Aesthetic dental treatments performed in our clinic in Chișinău
Teeth cleaning + Air Flow procedure
Pigments from colored foods, plaque and tartar accumulate on teeth over the years, causing them to lose their shine and develop stains that cannot be removed with a toothbrush. Scaling (tartar removal) is recommended not only from an aesthetic standpoint but also for preventing cavities and periodontal diseases. The Air Flow procedure will eliminate stains and restore the natural brightness and natural white color of teeth. If this is not enough for you, see below what whitening solutions are available.
In-office teeth whitening
Punto Bianco clinic is among the few in Moldova that has the most efficient and harmless LED whitening lamp, Philips Zoom IV generation, which whitens teeth up to 6 shades in just one hour.
Endodontic whitening of darkened teeth
Endodontically treated teeth acquire a darker color over time, and even if they are covered with dental crowns, the dark roots will show through the gums at the tooth collar. The solution is endodontic whitening, a gel applied inside the tooth that will whiten the dental tissues from within.
Ceramic crowns and veneers
The ideal solution that can change the aesthetics, color and shape of teeth through a thin layer of ceramic in a permanent form. Your smile will be planned in advance using Digital Smile Design, Wax up and Mock up methods, and tooth preparation will be minimally invasive thanks to preparation under a microscope. The ceramic is equally special, its name is EMAX, available in a vast range of colors, extremely resistant and extremely aesthetic.
Zirconia dental crowns
Zirconia crowns differ from ceramic ones in that they have a framework made of zirconia (white) and covered with thin layers of ceramic. If your teeth have suffered over time and present massive fillings, missing teeth, crowns, outdated restorations, there is always the possibility to replace them with something better. The crowns are milled using CAD CAM technology, which provides precision and reduces the risk of root cavities or gingival problems. Light penetrates through zirconia, so teeth covered with zirconia ceramic crowns will have a natural appearance while also being resistant.
Aesthetic composite restorations/fillings (white fillings)
If your tooth has a small cavity or defect and you are not satisfied with the color and shape of your teeth, a simple filling may be sufficient. To achieve aesthetic fillings that do not change color over time and are invisible to the eye, we decided to use superior quality composite for both front teeth and back teeth. We guarantee that you will not notice any difference in color or appearance between natural tissue and filling material.
Cosmetic element attachment (diamond/crystal)
For more splendor, many choose to attach a small diamond to the tooth enamel in the front region, so when they smile, they will certainly not go unnoticed.
Dental implants in the front area
Many dentists avoid inserting implants in the front area (front tooth/incisor/canine) and opt for dental bridges on adjacent teeth, because any mistake during surgery or prosthetics will be visible and difficult to solve. However, we believe that the best solution for replacing a tooth is a dental implant, because the lateral teeth will remain intact. We have designed a protocol for implant insertion that involves careful planning, with the help of tomography, surgical guide, implants that allow immediate loading and efficient and aesthetic prosthetic solutions. Cosmetic gum surgery
Sometimes to achieve a pleasant smile it is enough to correct the shape of the gums. They might cover too much of the tooth, thus creating the so-called “gummy smile” or conversely retreat and expose the tooth roots. Both situations create discomfort, an unaesthetic appearance but can be solved through microsurgery interventions such as gingivectomy, gingivoplasty, gum transplant or vestibuloplasty.
The most common aesthetic treatments chosen by local and foreign patients who visit our clinic in Chișinău are ceramic veneers and crowns (EMAX) – they are often combined to create a Hollywood smile. The price for both types of restorations is identical, so patients do not worry about this aspect of treatment.
